In 1954, Henry Johansson and Åke Arnell founded our company in the small community of Hyssna, outside Borås, with a vision of manufacturing high-quality work clothes for healthcare. It started with a collection of women's clothing delivered via mail order but soon the breakthrough came when they ventured into workwear for nurses. Through advertising in healthcare magazines, demand increased rapidly and we grew with more seamstresses and new factories. We soon became the leading manufacturer of workwear for healthcare professionals with sales offices and distributors around Europe. Today, we continue to supply work clothes of the highest quality to personnel in healthcare, dental, animal health care, kitchen and restaurant, spa and wellness as well as service and housekeeping.
