How we work with digital accessibility

As of June 28, 2025, a new law on digital accessibility will take effect – the Act on the Accessibility of Certain Services and Products, which is part of the EU’s Accessibility Directive (European Accessibility Act). The purpose of the law is to ensure that digital services and products are accessible to everyone, regardless of ability.

At Hejco, we take accessibility very seriously and we are actively working to improve the user experience for all visitors. This includes:

• Striving to follow the WCAG 2.1 guidelines at level AA.
• Ensuring that text content is clear, readable, and structured with proper heading hierarchy.
• Using alternative text (alt text) for images so that content can be understood with screen readers.
• Working with contrast, colors, and fonts to improve readability.
• Regularly testing the website with assistive technologies and users with different needs.
